Yesterday we went for a walk along the canal at Cropredy. Life has been fairly hectic since we moved into number twenty-eight but we are slowly getting there. Work on the new room should start early next month so hopefully all will be ready for Christmas. Then it'll be time to start on the small garden.
We thought winter had arrived. August had been stormy and the beginning of September not much better so a few days of sunshine had us ready to get out and enjoy the countryside. Especially since Tony finally seems to be getting stronger, the new medication making a huge difference.
Here are a couple photos of the canal:
And then this morning we went into Banbury:
I also took some photos in the garden:
The summer season is coming to an end
And most of the plants are looking tired
But this pot of violas has only just been planted, ready to cheer up a cold winter day.
